How to change a website's URL

If your website moved to a new domain, the old pixel won't track the new site. You need the website updated in DataMoon and a new pixel installed.

Steps

1. Email support@datamoon.com with your old domain and your new domain.
2. We'll update the website in your account and generate a new pixel.
3. Install the new pixel on your new site. See How to install the tracking pixel.
4. Remove the old pixel from the old site if it's still live.

Important notes

• Visitors aren't identified on the new domain until the new pixel is installed.
